Participating: 12 in total (10 admins, 1 back-up admin, 1 mentor)
Location: Douala, Sat, 11.45am-12.30pm
- Should mentor give status reports?
- Issue of mentors who are also teachers for their students
- Vetoing mentors, e.g., based on past performance
- Issue of conflicts of interest
- Voting for projects
- how much should admins take part in the voting
- should mentors vote on other projects, or 1st round voting only among students of their own project
- What to do when there is no continuity in org admin
- Quality plays no role in slot allocation process, instead it is first and foremost quantity
- But spam applications are to be deleted
- Issue of possible gaming the system
- role of good or bad relationship with Google
