Participating: 12 in total (10 admins, 1 back-up admin, 1 mentor)

Location: Douala, Sat, 11.45am-12.30pm

  • Should mentor give status reports?
  • Issue of mentors who are also teachers for their students
  • Vetoing mentors, e.g., based on past performance
  • Issue of conflicts of interest
  • Voting for projects
    • how much should admins take part in the voting
    • should mentors vote on other projects, or 1st round voting only among students of their own project
  • What to do when there is no continuity in org admin
  • Quality plays no role in slot allocation process, instead it is first and foremost quantity
    • But spam applications are to be deleted
    • Issue of possible gaming the system
    • role of good or bad relationship with Google
